Leaving
Málaga Airport by car to drive to Málaga City or Fuengirola
and Marbella
Malaga
Airport is located about 6km West of the Malaga city, just off
the main Coast Road N340. When leaving the airport by car, and
after the first roundabout, approaching the N340, the left hand
lane which takes you across the flyover goes to the Malaga,
Granada, Motril, Nerja and the Eastern Costa del Sol, whereas
the right hand lane is for Torremolinos, Benalmadena,
Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona, Sotogrande, Gibraltar, Cadiz,
and all other points on the western Costa del Sol.

Aena
have a web site
to check arrival and departure times but it is not updated
regularly, especially for overdue flights, they also have a
wap site, the url is wap.aena.es which is only accessible via
a mobile phone.

Airport Train Service
Train
Service from Málaga Airport to Málaga City and Fuengirola
The
train station is outside the international terminal. Take the
lift in the arrivals hall up to the Departures hall. Walk
outside onto the upper level parking area, and turn right.
Follow the signs over the footbridge to the train station.
To
Málaga City
First train 07.15 then at 45 and 15 minutes pas the hour.
Last train 23.45 journey time 12 minutes.
To
Fuengirola
First train 06.13 then at 43 and 13
minutes pas the hour. Last train 22.43 journey time 29 minutes.
Malaga
Airport Taxis
The
airport taxis will take you anywhere along the Costa del Sol,
the rates are fixed and the current tariff should be available
in the taxi.

Bus Service
Buses
from Málaga Airport to Málaga City, Fuengirola and Marbella
There
is a frequent bus service from the airport into Málaga city bus
station from where you can get express buses to all along the
Costa del Sol.
There
is also a new Express service from the airport direct to
Marbella Bus Station via the motorway which only takes about 35 minutes.
