Introduction Stalham is a small market town 15 miles north of Norwich, 3 miles from the sea, golden beaches and on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, one of England's finest National Parks, especially if you like wildlife, sailing and good clean country air. The purpose of this site is to show what the Norfolk Broads and Stalham has to offer the visitor - see the Town Guide for the full Press Release about the Stalham regeneration project. Will the old fire station be refurbished? The revamped Staithe is a vast improvement. The past & present section has many pictures of Stalham as it is today, plus copies of old photographs, with where possible, a current photograph taken from the same position. You will see that in a lot of cases, other than in a different style of dress and transport, very little has changed since the turn of the century to the main fabric of the buildings.
