A visit to Sutton Mill, Britain's tallest windmill and famous Norfolk landmark, makes a pleasant trip into the Norfolk countryside. Enjoy superb views of the surrounding country and coastline from the top outside viewing gallery.

The historic corn mill was built over 200 years ago and was in use until 1940. A few years ago the then derelict mill was bought by the Nunn family who began the lengthy restoration work, which is still in progress. A policy of traditional replacement is being pursued, using materials as near to the original as possible.

What you can see at Sutton Mill

Complete milling machinery, four sets of millstones, sack hoist and nine floors. The corn milling machinery is considered to be the finest in the area. This and the knowledge that you are a vital factor in the resoration and ultimate turning of the sails again at Britain's tallest windmill, makes this the mill to visit.
